Microsoft Excel for Stock and Option Traders, Book by Jeff Augen

Microsoft Excel for Stock and Option Traders

This book is not like most other trading or investing books on the market. It focuses primarily on the technology. Its full name is “Microsoft Excel for Stock and Option Traders: Build Your Own Analytical Tools for Higher Returns”. The main idea of the book is that with the new developments in technology, even small individual traders can develop and use powerful analytical tools, primarily using Microsoft Excel and commonly available market data. Jeff Augen covers topics such as data mining, building and maintaining a database of market data, and using that data to run various analyses.

You can get it on Amazon:

Here you can find my short review of Jeff Augen’s another book, The Volatility Edge in Options Trading, which focuses less (though still a bit) on the technology and more on the markets themselves.
